Crystal Palace striker Cameron Jerome expects to return to parent club Stoke City for preseason.
Cameron remains in the dark over long-term future because there have been no discussions with either Stoke boss Mark Hughes or Palace manager Tony Pulis.
"There hasn't been any talk of my future," he said.
"I am just concentrating on playing football, the main thing is I want to play.
"I came here to play and I said to Ollie when he signed me that I believe the club would stay up.
"It isn't my decision really. If things materialise in the summer then that is between the two clubs.
"Obviously I am only initially here for a year and the main objective was to keep the club in the Premier League and play games - that is what I have done.
"I will go away, have a holiday and then go back to work hard in pre-season for Stoke, then I will sit down with the manager there and see what his plans are for me.
"If I became available and Palace showed an interest then obviously it would be something I was interested in."
