Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has signed striker Anthony Stokes from Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Republic of Ireland international will go straight into the Eagles' squad for their home game against leaders Wolves on Tuesday night.
Stokes cost Sunderland £2million from Arsenal in January 2007 and spent three months on loan with Sheffield United earlier this season.
Boss Neil Warnock has been on the look-out for a striker since Craig Beattie was recalled from his loan spell by West Brom in December.
