West Bromwich Albion are making an opening bid for Crystal Palace striker Peter Odemwingie.
The Telegraph says Palace will table a first offer of £1.75 million for the Nigeria international.
West Brom are demanding over £2 million for a player with less than 12 months left on his contract but Palace are hopeful of reaching an agreement.
