Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak has plenty more to achieve this season even after guiding the club back to the Premier League.
The 28-year old midfielder was a vital contributor as the Eagles defeated Watford 1-0 in the promotion playoff on Monday but insists that his season is not yet over as he gets set to help the Socceroos in their World Cup qualifying quest.
Australia takes on group leaders Japan in Saitama on June 4, Jordan in Melbourne on June 11 and Iraq in Sydney on June 18.
"It hasn't sunk in. It's still a bit surreal, to be honest, but I'm looking forward to what lies ahead for myself and the club," said Jedinak upon linking up with the Socceroos squad.
"But this season's not over yet. There's three games to go. The game took it out of me physically and mentally, but there's enough time to prepare for the Japan game.
"I got a knock on the ankle which I'm managing, but we know it's a tough game, we're in their backyard, so we're going to have to turn up and give an extra special performance."
