Crystal Palace have been stunned by Blackpool's asking price for Thomas Ince and Matty Phillips.

The Mirror says Palace boss Ian Holloway is reeling after former club Blackpool quoted him a combined £14million fee for wingers Ince and Phillips.

Both valuations are so high because Blackpool agreed - ironically, during Holloway's time in charge - to sell-on deals that will pass slices of any transfer fees to the players' former clubs, Liverpool and Wycombe.

The Anfield giants will pick up around £2.4m from any Ince sale, while League Two side Wycombe would receive a windfall close to £2m.
