Crystal Palace are chasing Manchester City midfielder Juan Roman.

The Mirror says City's Spanish starlet Juan Roman is set to move to Dougie Freedman's Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season.

Highly-rated Roman cannot break into Roberto Mancini's all-star squad and will be allowed out - possibly with a view to a permanent departure.

Roman, 18, signed for City from Espanyol and has caught the eye with skillful performances for their reserve and 'development' sides. But he is well down the pecking order at Eastlands.
