Ian Holloway is battling to keep his job at Crystal Palace.
The People says Palace insiders have revealed that Holloway is under massive pressure, with Newcastle United chief Alan Pardew the shock name in the frame to replace him.
Holloway took the Eagles soaring into the big time but major trouble in the transfer market has left him with a weak looking squad.
With Pardew also battling his way through problems at Newcastle it could lead to a remarkable managerial switch in the coming weeks.
Palace would NOT approach Pardew while he is still in work and pay a huge compensation bill. However if he left the job there would be a very quick offer of a return.
