Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis believes the return of a key striker as well as the addition of a number of new players on deadline day will help them win their relegation battle.
The south London club were beaten 2-0 at Arsenal on Sunday which saw them drop back to 17th on the Premier League table but Pulis is of the belief that last season's leading scorer Glenn Murray and former Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley can give them a boost.
Palace also signed Tom Ince (on loan from Blackpool), Scott Dan (from Blackburn Rovers) and Wayne Hennessey (from Wolves) on Friday.
"The spirit, commitment and togetherness of the players is brilliant and we can bring a couple more players into it now, which will help us," Pulis told Sky Sports.
"Joe Ledley is a good passer of the ball and keeps things ticking, but he'll also score a goal. We need that.
"Glenn Murray isn't far away either, he's going to have another game on Monday and we need goals in the team, no question of a doubt."
