Crystal Palace have told Manchester United to up their bid for Wilfried Zaha.

The Daily Mail says Palace have told United they will have to improve their £6million offer if they want to sign forward Zaha.

United chief executive David Gill said of Zaha: "He is one of the players we are looking at."

The total amount of United's offer could reach as much as £12m, with the deal including add-ons and performance related payments.

It is understood United will pay half of the fee up front, with the remainder staggered over the course of Zaha's contract.
