Crystal Palace are set to appoint a new football director.
The Daily Mail says Palace are set to begin their preparations for the Premier League by appointing trained solicitor Tim Coe as their new head of recruitment.
Manager Ian Holloway knows he will have to strengthen his squad significantly this summer if newly-promoted Palace are to have a chance of staying up next season.
And co-owner Steve Parish is close to naming little-known youth coach Coe, who has spells working at Watford, Reading and Aldershot, to oversee the club's summer transfer plans.
