Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams is delighted with his loan return to Ipswich Town.

It's been a nightmare five months for the Kent-born man, whose second loan spell at Portman Road was cut short due to an injury against Watford.

"I'm delighted to be back at Ipswich and I can't wait to get back out on the pitch again," Williams told the Ipswich Town website.

"I really enjoyed my last two spells here and I'm looking forward to starting my third.

"The boys are doing really well and I'm hoping I can contribute wherever possible in this promotion push. They're a great bunch of lads and I'm looking forward to working with them and the staff again.

"I just can't wait to get started now."
