Crystal Palace are making an offer for West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie.

The Mirror says Palace boss Ian Holloway is making a £2.5million bid to sign unhappy Odemwingie.

Holloway wants the maverick forward to join the Eagles and give them extra variety in their attack as they try to stay in the big time.

Odemwingie is out of favour at the Hawthorns after his bizarre attempt to force a move to QPR.
