Crystal Palace legend Geoff Thomas is nervous for his old club.

Thomas has warned Ollie and Co they face a huge task to avoid the drop.

The former Eagles skipper said: "Spurs are one of the most exciting teams in the country and Gareth Bale is a superstar so, hopefully, he will have a bit of an off-day.

"Your first look at the fixtures is when the reality of being back among the big boys hits you.

"You first look for the glamour games but then you start thinking about the matches where you have to pick up points.

"Getting the fixture list is also a reminder the hard work is about to start."
