Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni is chasing a place in Argentina's World Cup.

Speroni is aiming high and he hopes his dreams can be achieved in Brazil.

He told Sells Goalkeeper Products: "I've just got to keep doing what I've been doing for Palace and hopefully I will earn a call-up to the squad for the friendly next month.

"Obviously the decision is out of my hands but it would be a dream for me to be called up. Representing my country would be amazing.

"I'm very pleased with my form this season; I'm working so, so hard to keep improving and I'm enjoying my football, which is also important.

"I have to keep taking it a game at a time with Palace and concentrate on what has served me well this season - that is the most important thing, then hopefully the other things will take care of themselves."
