Crystal Palace will make an approach in the summer for on-loan Everton striker James Vaughan. His form for Palace - nine goals in 30 appearances - has earned him a place in Stuart Pearce's 40-man provisional squad for England Under-21s' European Championship tournament this summer.
"A deal for James Vaughan is just a case of sitting down and convincing James that this is where he wants to play his football," Eagles boss Dougie Freedman said.
"Then we'll look at the financial situation and putting everything in place and seeing what the outcome is."
