Crystal Palace Academy boss Gary Issott is keen for Ryan Inniss to move out on-loan.
The centre-back has stepped up his comeback in recent weeks from a hamstring injury picked up in February at League One outfit Gillingham.
"He's come back really well from his injury to his hamstring," Issott told the Croydon Advertiser.
"He's been really good and it's a big year for him. If he can't push himself in with the manager's plans we hope that he might be able to get a Championship or top League One club.
"He's an U20 player at the moment and at 16 we convinced him to stay. We told him he'd be in our team at 18 or 19 and now he's an U20.
"The club's gone on a level but I'd still expect Ryan to stay if we were a Championship club so I just hope he can attract some attention and prove himself at that level."
