Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock hopes to keep on-loan West Brom striker Craig Beattie.

A knee injury to Ishmael Miller has raised the prospect of Beattie being recalled to the Hawthorns.

Beattie has found some fitness and form during his loan spell at Palace, hitting his fifth goal during last night's 3-0 win over Southampton.

Warnock said: "I think they are going to be looking at January really. They will be looking at the transfer window and signing one or two players.

"They have been pretty good to me, as has Tony, but it is his prerogative."
