Palace hero Freedman: I should have done better!

After pulling off the impossible and saving Crystal Palace from the drop, manager Dougie Freedman says he's down on himself because he felt they could have done better!

Freedman is refusing to rest on his laurels and he thinks his five months in charge could have gone better despite the main objective being achieved.

Summing up his driven nature, Freedman told the Daily Mail: "Deep down, I am a little bit disappointed but I understand confidence was low when I first took over so it took five or six games to get us up and running.

"If I'm honest I'm actually a little bit disappointed not to be in and around 15th spot because I felt we could have achieved that."
