Palace face fight to keep ex-Arsenal forward Chamakh

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis says a new deal for Marouane Chamakh has yet to be discussed. The Moroccan has netted six goals this campaign, which has alerted Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert.

"I haven't spoken to Marouane (Chamakh). We have a few players out of contract at the end of the season," Pulis told the Daily Express.

"I'm determined that it will get sorted out though.

"I haven't spoken to any players about contract extensions. Marouane has shown with his work off the ball that he is enjoying his football and that's all I want from him."
