Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is eager to see Clinton Morrison sign a new contract.

Reading are monitoring the situation, but Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "Clinton knows that if he wants a contract then there will be one waiting for him and over the next couple of months we will sit down and talk about it.

"Because he is out of contract then Reading, if they're interested, would have contacted him and of course we could do nothing about that.

"But as far as I know there has been no contact between the two."
