Crystal Palace defender Jonathan Parr wasn't surprised by manager Ian Holloway's departure this week.

The Norway left-back still believes that the club can retain its Premier League status.

"The results haven't been good enough," Parr told Norwegian channel TV2, "so maybe it's not so strange that they decided to do something now to turn this negative trend.

"It's still early in the season, and no one has given up," he added.

"This can turn quickly."
