Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss has avoided serious injury on-loan at Port Vale.
The Valiants will be assessing the 19-year-old further to see if he suffered any ligament damage when he was injured in their 3-2 defeat at Coventry.
Inniss was stretchered off on 36 minutes of the game after appearing to fall awkwardly after a challenge on Coventry striker Marcus Tudgay.
He was sent to hospital for an x-ray and Vale are relieved that the results have at least shown no break, says The Sentinel. However, they now face a nervous wait to see what if any other damage has been done to the ankle.
