Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley has aggravated an injury while sitting on the bench!
The Wales international has missed four games already this season due to a hip problem that keeps flaring up.
And his problem has been so sensitive that in the goalless draw against Burnley in September he exacerbated the problem just by sitting down.
Warnock recalled: "What happened last time was he was on the bench as a sub. He never felt it, but he went to warm up and it just went. I wanted to put him on but I couldn't. He was about a week in treatment after that.
"It just flares up. He first did it when he was away with Wales on one of the games. We have managed to control it, but it was one of those.
"Joe had a hip problem when I first came and missed a game and that has just flared up again. So we don't know about him for Saturday against Tottenham.
"It is usually about a week, which makes him touch and go for the weekend, but he responded last week so we are hoping he will be available. But we won't know until the nearer the time."
