Palace compete with Stoke for Monaco striker Emmanuel Riviere

Crystal Palace have joined Stoke City in their interest for AS Monaco striker Emmanuel Riviere.

The Daily Mail says scouts are due to watch Riviere play against Monts d'Or Azergues in the French cup on Tuesday night prior to making any bid.

Palace boss Tony Pulis has considered Stoke's Peter Crouch, Jon Walters, Brondby's Simon Makienok and David McGoldrick at Ipswich.
