Palace can sign outright West Ham striker Sears
West Ham United striker Freddie Sears could sign permanently with Crystal Palace.
The News of the World says the 19-year-old striker has impressed at Selhurst Park since his summer switch and hopes to persuade boss Neil Warnock to offer him a permanent deal in the New Year.
Palace are thought to be keen to wrap up a deal for the talented teenager with Warnock looking to bolster his striking options.
Sears scored on his Hammers debut in March 2008 but has fallen behind Carlton Cole, Zavon Hines, Guillermo Franco and Alessandro Diamanti in the pecking order.
And he looks set to leave Upton Park in search of first-team football.
