Palace boss Warnock won't be milking home applause

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock won't be seeking anything special from Selhurst Park fans today.

Warnock returns to the ground for the first time since his re-appointment as manager today against Burnley.

"It's going to be a special moment to be back at Selhurst for the first time but will I be doing a lot of waving about beforehand? No - it's straight down to business for me. I have come back to do a job," Warnock told the London Evening Standard.

"One or two people think the bubble may have burst after what's happened in the last few weeks, I don't feel like that. The squad has improved and we can ruffle a few feathers. The fans gave me a new lease of life when I was here last time and I never forgot that. The atmosphere is even better now and was one of the reasons I came back.

"I'm looking forward to benefiting from it because our home form will be vital if we are to achieve what we want."
