Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is targeting three signings this January.
With the Eagles losing Mile Jedinak and Yannick Bolasie for up to a month on international duty in the new year, Warnock is desperate for fresh blood.
The Palace boss said: "We have to be lucky with injuries.
"I think we can cope at the back but we are a little thin in midfield and up front.
"It will be difficult with the amount of games over Christmas.
"We are trying to get to January and then give our squad a better balance to try and cater for injuries we pick up.
"We are looking for three players."
