Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock will consider recalling Glenn Murray from his loan with Reading.
Murray has scored five goals in 13 appearances for Reading in the Championship and Warnock admits he may have made a mistake by letting him leave on loan.
"It is a difficult one because when I came, he more or less pleaded with me to go and play some games," said the Palace manager. "I have explained the situation to him. He would have played the other night [against Aston Villa] if he was here.
"So [in hindsight] I would not be as agreeable to help the player. I have got to look after the club now, so it will have to be beneficial to us for the second half of the season. We get reports on him and are always on top of how he is doing."
