Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis feels Liverpool striker Danny Sturridge is ready for a big World Cup.
Palace meet Liverpool tomorrow night.
Pulis said: "Sturridge has been outstanding this year. It didn't fall for him at Chelsea, but Brendan [Rodgers] seems to have got the best out of him.
"A lot of people thought that his best position was coming in from wide positions, but you have to give a lot of credit to Brendan for giving him the opportunity to be the success he has been and for backing him. I would be very surprised if Roy [Hodgson] left him out. He's some player."
