Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is disappointed to lose Kagisho Dikgacoi to Cardiff City.
The 29-year-old South African was a free agent after turning down a Palace new contract and has joined Cardiff.
"He is one of those players in the right situation can certainly do the job," Pulis said.
"I'm disappointed [to lose him], but can understand that [it's] a long contract and a very well paid contract.
"I can understand why he went."
