Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis is delighted for predecessor Ian Holloway over his impact at Millwall.
It all worked out for Pulis and Holloway in the end. Few would have predicted at the start of this season that the latter - who instantly recommended Pulis for the job when he stepped down - would end up switching to near neighbours Millwall.
"I'm really pleased for Ian and for Millwall that they stayed up," said Pulis to The Times. "It's good for Ian. He's got a chance now to really kick on next year. I'm sure he'll be looking forward to having a fresh start, a clean slate.
"The decent thing about this club is that before Dougie [Freedman] and Ian left. They got the right characters - it is the best group I've had in respect of the senior pros really knuckling down and getting behind the lads.
"There were too many players here - the balance wasn't brilliant. It was just making sure to get them organised, disciplined - up and running."
