Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew supports FIFA plans to hold the 2022 World Cup in the winter.
Pardew is convinced the idea will work given the right preparation.
"They certainly wouldn't benefit from a summer World Cup in Qatar, I don' think, for our fans and for our players," said Pardew.
"Qatar have won the process and we all have to understand in football that year could well be a winter World Cup, we deal with it and I'm sure we can.
"We'll have to organise our leagues and programmes accordingly.
"I think it could still be a success, absolutely, why not? Most World Cups are."
