Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew was delighted with two-goal Marouane Chamakh after their FA Cup win over Southampton.
Pardew says he felt he was the best player on the pitch at St Mary's.
"He has been injured and when you think of the players that Southampton have on the pitch, that is a great credit to him," he said.
"I have not seen a lot of Chamakh before coming here, but even his performances at the end of last season weren't as good as today for me."
