Keeper Julian Speroni will not be leaving Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day confirms Eagles boss Alan Pardew.

Palace are considering a move for Queens Park Rangers keeper Rob Green and Speroni had been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park.

"Bringing in another goalkeeper is another option we are considering," said Pardew.

"There are two clubs involved [with a possible loan for Alex McCarthy]. He is a great goalkeeper and we want to get him up to speed. He needs game time and we have taken that option rather than Jules going out on loan. He is Palace through and through."
