Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is backing Wilfried Zaha for England's U21 Euros squad.
Pardew is hoping he can continue improving by getting experience with England in the Czech Republic this summer.
He said: "I spoke to Gareth about it and I said 'I know he's not in your group at the moment because you have a settled group but if you get an injury or a wildcard you should consider him because he is playing in terrific form'.
"I think it will be good for him to go with England, I'd love for him to get in the squad.
"I don't see any problem. It would be games for him.
"He hasn't played much really in the last two or three years. I really hope that Gareth picks him but obviously that is down to Gareth."
