Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman is confident of adding to his squad before the transfer deadline closes. "I am looking for permanent deals, we're at the bottom of the food chain so I have to be patient," he said.
"The board have been fantastic, very up front and have never refused as long as I've got a good reason.
"I'm closing in on a few targets in terms of speaking to the clubs and the agents.
"I'm fighting against other clubs but I need the players to buy into what I am doing. I do think we've got a very strong squad now."
