Palace boss Holloway: I'm over Bent disappointment

Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway says he's over the disappointment of missing out on Darren Bent.

Ollie wrote in the Sunday Mirror: "I was in a stinker of a mood all day on Thursday after finding out that Darren Bent was signing for Fulham.

"I had gone to bed the previous evening thinking we had a loan deal for the Villa striker in the bag.

"When I woke up, my worst nightmare had come true.

"I felt a bit sorry for myself, until I met up with David Moyes, Andre Villas-Boas and Chris Hughton and realised that every manager in the division has his own problems.

"David's first weeks as Manchester United boss has been overshadowed by speculation about Wayne Rooney, while AVB is trying to keep Gareth Bale at Tottenham and out of the clutches of Real Madrid. And just look at the shadow the talk of Luis Suarez leaving Liverpool has cast over Brendan Rodgers' plans."
