Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway admits he tried to re-sign Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha on deadline day.
Zaha could face his former club this weekend.
"I asked about a loan for Wilf but David [Moyes] will select him at the right time," said Holloway. "I asked about him in the last day of the transfer window. Just in case."
