Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway hopes to call on Wilfried Zaha for the remainder of the season.
England international Zaha, 20, is wanted by Manchester United and although their initial £12million valuation of the winger is lower than Palace's, they have been given enough encouragement to return to the negotiating table.
Speaking on the Footballer's Football Show on Sky Sports 1 on Thursday night, Holloway discussed Zaha's future at length and confirmed that he wants him to be around to aid Palace's Championship promotion push.
Sky Sports presenter David Jones asked Holloway: "So what's the plan for him (Zaha) then? You get a big fee for him and get him back (on loan)?"
Holloway smiled, took a sip of water and replied: "You didn't have to be a genius to work that one out did you?"
The ex-Blackpool boss also confirmed that Palace chairman Steve Parish had spoken to "one or two clubs" regarding the Ivory Coast-born winger's future.
