Palace boss Holloway discusses his four trialists

Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway fielded trialists in their friendly with Dagenham & Redbridge yesterday.

Holloway fielded four trialists in the 2-1 win.

Giant Austrian striker Atdhe Nuhiu put Palace ahead after meeting a cross from fellow trialist Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, once on the books of Arsenal, Birmingham, Cardiff and Portsmouth.

After the break Osman Sow and Elliot Grandin got a run out, with the latter playing a part in the move from which Owen Garvan scored from the penalty spot.

"There will be trialists out there because we're trying to play catch up," Holloway said.

"It would be totally unfair to make any decisions today so I might use some of them again on Tuesday [against Gillingham] if their agents will let me.

"That is the first game for them and you should never judge anyone on their first game.

"They've bedded in with us and I quite like them as people so I will have some tough decisions to make."
