Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman will give Antonio Pedroza every chance to win a contract.

The Jaguares striker is trialling with Palace after seeing a move to Tottenham fall through upon his arrival from Mexico.

"He's got a tight hamstring and I've got to make a decision on him over the next week," said Freedman.

"I've got to get him fit again, maybe get him in a game behind closed doors, and then I can make a decision on him."
