Palace boss Freedman expects Liverpool, Stoke to come calling for Zaha

Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman expects interest in Wilfried Zaha to intensify after his performance against Coventry City.

The striker showed just why Liverpool and Stoke City have been tracking him as he had a huge part in both the 90th-minute equaliser and the winner in the sixth minute of time added on.

"My plan is to hold on to our young talent a bit longer so we can all enjoy them," said Freedman.

"And when I feel they are ready to represent another club at the top level, then I will pass them on. But of course I know, letting them go can be just a phone call away. I've already had phone calls . . ."
