Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman says Everton striker James Vaughan is a chip off the old block!
Vaughan's 75th-minute penalty moved the Eagles seven points clear of the bottom three.
Freedman felt the penalty decision was the correct one, though.
"The defender got very close and had got away with one or to," the former striker added on the Palace website.
"Eventually (that sort of thing) is going to be given. Credit to Vaughany, he makes it difficult for defenders trying to win the ball. He told me he was going to score before the game, and he steps up and does what I used to do."
