Palace boss Burley eager to sign experience

Crystal Palace boss George Burley admits he needs to add experience to his squad.

Palace slumped to their third Championship defeat on the spin when they were beaten 3-0 at Scunthorpe on Saturday - a result Burley felt illustrated the weaknesses in his squad.

Burley now has until Tuesday evening to bring in reinforcements.

"It showed maybe you can't keep pushing young players week in, week out," said the Scot.

"That's something we have got to try to address."
