Pakistani international Zesh Rehman is behind Chelsea's pursuit of Asian football stars of the future. The 25-year old is currently on-loan to Bradford City from Queens Park Rangers and is all for the scheme to find potential Asian stars.

"I think it's great. Chelsea are a Premier League club with a massive profile across the world," Rehman told Chelsea's official website.

"If they can highlight it then I am sure other clubs can look at that and use it as a template for future reference.

"The main theme of it is integration and cohesion among the communities and in my opinion there is no better way than football to do that.

"It is a great idea by Chelsea and hopefully if one of those lads can come through and make it then even better.

"They can gain confidence from it, self-esteem, playing in a team, living an active lifestyle and being off the streets."
