Everton is one of a number of high-profile English soccer sides to have signed with a new betting partner for the 2012/13, reports SportsPro. In addition to deals signed by Tottenham and Liverpool, Everton's latest sponsorship signing sees Paddy Power announced as the club's official betting partner in the UK and Ireland for the next two years.
Though financial terms of the deal were not released, top Premier League club's can expect to collect up to £3 million annually for betting partnerships that are agreed on an international basis.
"Paddy Power has a fantastic track record in football and we look forward to being part of their portfolio," said Everton's commercial director Dan Biggar.
A Paddy Power spokesperson added, "Both ourselves and Everton are passionate about entertaining and delivering for our fans and customers first and foremost. We look forward to going over and above in both listening to and offering the best possible value to Everton supporters over the next couple of years and beyond."
