Middlesbrough are believed to be close to a deal for Pacos de Ferreira midfielder Vitor Silva.
The 29-year old attacking midfielder has held talks with the Teessiders and could be calling the Riverside Stadium his home by the end of the week according to Sky Sports.
Silva made 29 appearances for Pacos last season as the club gained a Champions League playoff spot but it looks as though he will instead be making the move to England's second tier.
