Kilmarnock boss Mixu Paatelainen has no immediate interest in the Aberdeen vacancy. The Finn had a spell as a player at Pittodrie in the early 1990s but does not appear to be seeking a return to the club as manager.

"I am enjoying every second here," he said, having earned plaudits for his efforts at Kilmarnock so far this season.

"The players are working very hard and they are enjoying the work. I'm enjoying every day so I am not looking elsewhere, put it that way."
