Markus Paatelainen's future at Inverness Caley Thistle hangs in the balance after picking up an injury that leaves the midfielder with a race to be fit before the end of the season.

The 25-year-old's contract expires in the summer and he has been offered the chance to win a new deal should he impress in Caley's remaining three games.

But a knock has ruled him out of today's game with Gretna and Brewster refused to be drawn on the Finn's future.

"We will just wait and see how he comes back after the injury," the manager said.
