Mesut Ozil was delighted with his winning home debut for Real Madrid on Saturday.

The Germany midfielder impressed in the 1-0 win over Osasuna.

"I was proud to hear the applause from the audience, really," said Ozil. "The crowd is helping me a lot, but also all my colleagues.

"I always want to give the best on the field and hope people leave happy with my football at the end of the match ... especially if we win."
